Daily Sweets – Privacy Policy

Overview
This privacy policy explains how the Android app “Daily Sweets” (the “App”), provided by somethingnew.dream (the “Developer”), handles information. The App does not require an account, and the Developer does not collect or store personal information on its own servers.
Information stored on your device
The following data is stored only on your device and is not sent to the Developer:
- Your settings (when the sweets image changes, the daily notification on/off, the weather area you selected)
- The sweets image shown on each widget and the weather widget's display state
- The most recently downloaded weather forecast (kept so it can be shown when offline)
This data is deleted when you uninstall the App or clear its data.
Weather forecast
To show the weather forecast, the App downloads forecast data from the website of the Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA). The request contains the code of the area you selected, and, as with any internet connection, your IP address is visible to the JMA server. No other information about you is sent. The App is not affiliated with JMA.
When you double-tap the weather widget, the App shows Yahoo! JAPAN Weather in an in-app browser. Your use of that website is subject to Yahoo! JAPAN's own privacy policy.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
The App shows ads provided by Google AdMob. To show ads, measure their performance and prevent fraud, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect and process information such as:
- Device identifiers, including the advertising ID
- Approximate location derived from your IP address
- Information about your device and app usage, and interactions with ads
- Diagnostic and performance information
This information is processed by Google as described in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the App asks for your consent before personalized ads are shown, using Google's consent tool. You can change your choice at any time from “More” > “Ad privacy settings” in the App. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of personalized ads, in your device's settings.
Notifications
If you allow notifications, the App shows a “Today's sweets” notification every morning. This is created on your device; no information is sent for it. You can turn it off in the App's Settings or in your device settings.
Children
The App is not directed at children under 13, and the Developer does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

本プライバシーポリシーは、somethingnew.dream(以下「開発者」)が提供する Android アプリ「毎日スイーツ」(以下「本アプリ」)における情報の取り扱いについて説明するものです。本アプリはアカウント登録を必要とせず、開発者が自身のサーバーで個人情報を収集・保存することはありません。
端末内に保存する情報
次の情報はお使いの端末内にのみ保存され、開発者に送信されることはありません。
- 設定内容(スイーツ画像の切り替えタイミング、毎朝の通知のオン/オフ、選択した天気の地域)
- 各ウィジェットに表示中のスイーツ画像と、天気ウィジェットの表示状態
- 最後に取得した天気予報(通信できないときに表示するため)
これらの情報は、本アプリのアンインストールまたはアプリのデータ削除によって消去されます。
天気予報
本アプリは、天気予報を表示するために気象庁のウェブサイトから予報データを取得します。この通信には選択した地域のコードが含まれ、インターネット通信の性質上、お使いの IP アドレスが気象庁のサーバーに伝わります。それ以外の情報は送信しません。本アプリは気象庁とは関係ありません。
天気ウィジェットをダブルタップすると、本アプリ内のブラウザで Yahoo!天気 を表示します。同サイトの利用には、Yahoo! JAPAN のプライバシーポリシーが適用されます。
広告(Google AdMob)
本アプリは Google AdMob による広告を表示します。広告の配信、効果測定、不正防止のために、Google Mobile Ads SDK が次のような情報を収集・処理することがあります。
- 広告 ID などの端末の識別子
- IP アドレスから推定されるおおよその位置情報
- 端末やアプリの利用状況、広告の操作に関する情報
- 診断・パフォーマンスに関する情報
これらの情報は、Google のサービスを使用するサイトやアプリから収集した情報の Google による使用および Google プライバシーポリシーに従って Google が処理します。
欧州経済領域(EEA)、英国、スイスにお住まいの場合、本アプリは Google の同意管理ツールにより、パーソナライズド広告を表示する前に同意を求めます。同意内容は、本アプリの「その他」>「広告のプライバシー設定」からいつでも変更できます。また、端末の設定で広告 ID のリセット・削除や、パーソナライズド広告のオプトアウトができます。
通知
通知を許可すると、本アプリは毎朝「今日のスイーツ」の通知を表示します。通知は端末内で作成され、そのために情報を送信することはありません。通知は本アプリの設定画面または端末の設定でオフにできます。
お子さまについて
本アプリは 13 歳未満のお子さまを対象としておらず、開発者がお子さまの個人情報を意図的に収集することはありません。
